Let’s get together in nature on a day when the Sun crosses the celestial equator—the imaginary line in the sky above Earth’s equator. The Earth’s rotational axis is neither tilted away from nor toward the Sun, and the times of day and night are roughly equal.
For me, it is a moment to say goodbye to summer, the heat, and the green color. I will miss them! It is also a time to welcome the divinity of vibrant, colorful life: orangish, reddish, yellowish at its best. Therefore, it is a moment of connection with others.
The best way is out and in yoga!
So we will have:
Please bring warm layers. To make it fun and very optional, dress in both seasons: green and a vibrant color of your choice (red, orange, or yellow). Wear a top representing summer and a button representing fall or vice versa. Equinox!
Bring your mat and any beverage if you need to.
