SUMMARY:Yoga\, Poetry\, and Tea
DESCRIPTION:In honor of World Poetry Day\, I present a special event in partnership with PAMA and Andrea Josic\, the City of Mississauga’s Poet Laureate. This unique experience is to highlight the power of two great human expressions: yoga and poetry. \n\n\n\nPoetry speaks to our shared humanity. Poetry is arranged in words\, and yoga is arranged in movements. \n\n\n\nIn the same way that poetry improves literacy\, yoga improves our capacity to move. Both creative expressions enrich human evolution and interconnection. \n\n\n\nJust as poetry celebrates linguistic diversity\, so yoga honors our individual abilities and confidence. \n\n\n\nDescription of the session: \n\n\n\n1. Our opening to welcome you! Andrea shares a live reading of her own poems. \n\n\n\n2. With the set tone\, we continue with a presence meditation. \n\n\n\n3. For approximately 45 minutes\, a gentle yoga flow follows with intentional poetic linguistic cues and calming music. Ending this segment with savasana or restful pose and a gentle moving out of it. \n\n\n\n4. Afterwards\, we pause to grab a cup of tea to prepare us for our poetry circle. You are encouraged to bring your favorite short poem or your own. Everyone has a moment to read and share. Consider bringing out various options and choosing the one that resonates with you now. You can optionally select this time to write from your own reflections. Both reading poetry and sipping a hot drink are rituals of presence. Your tea slows you with heat\, aroma\, and the act of holding. \n\n\n\n5. Andrea offers a second reading of one of her poems based on gratitude. \n\n\n\n6. Closing with loving-kindness meditation. \n\n\n\n7. An open space for comments\, questions\, and answers. \n\n\n\nPlease bring your yoga mat and one block or any prop\, if needed. \n\n\n\nCome and enjoy the experience of yoga + poetry + tea!

SUMMARY:Slow & Dynamic. Vinyasa.
DESCRIPTION:Class Style and Environment \n\n\n\nEvery Thursday\, two sessions are offered: one at 12:00 p.m. and another at 4:30 p.m. Both classes focus on a slow movement flow synchronized with the breath\, with special attention given to mindful transitions and dynamic sequences. While the midday and afternoon sessions share the same overall theme and sequence\, they are not identical. The 12:00 p.m. class may invite greater stamina and sustained effort\, whereas the 4:30 p.m. session is designed with a gentler level of intensity. \n\n\n\nThese classes are open to practitioners of all levels and backgrounds. Options and variations are offered throughout to support different bodies\, abilities\, and energy levels. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace\, rest as needed\, and adapt or choose versions of each movement that feel supportive and sustainable. The space is intended to be welcoming and inclusive\, honoring diverse experiences and fostering a sense of safety\, respect\, and community. \n\n\n\nIf you have specific accessibility needs or questions\, you are warmly invited to reach out in advance so accommodations can be explored. \n\n\n\nThe studio features a bold\, retro-inspired wood floor design that creates a distinctive atmosphere; the room is heated to encourage a gentle sweat and maintain warmth throughout the practice\, while a well-placed mirror supports clear demonstrations and enhances the overall learning experience.

SUMMARY:Slow & Dynamic | Soul Flow
DESCRIPTION:Class Style and Environment \n\n\n\nThis yoga class offers a gentle invitation into slow\, intentional movement guided by breath. Integrating pranayama\, meditation\, and yogic philosophy\, the practice weaves together dynamism and stillness\, encouraging steady transitions and mindful awareness in each pose. Participants are supported in cultivating personal agency\, deepening self-connection\, and engaging with the shared energy of the community. Music accompanies most sessions\, reflecting the evening mood—longing\, melodic\, calm\, and rhythmical. Hands-on support may be offered\, when aligned with the theme\, using consent chips. \n\n\n\nSlowness is a shared intention of the practice\, creating space for awareness and continuity of breath. At the same time\, participants are encouraged to honor their own rhythms within that container — pausing\, softening\, or choosing a different expression of a movement as needed. Options and variations are offered throughout to support different bodies\, abilities\, and energy levels. \n\n\n\nThese classes are open to practitioners of all levels and backgrounds. The space is intended to be welcoming and inclusive\, honoring diverse experiences and fostering a sense of safety\, respect\, and community. \n\n\n\nIf you have specific accessibility needs or questions\, you are warmly invited to reach out in advance so accommodations can be explored. \n\n\n\nThe space is intentionally kept at a comfortable temperature—never heated. A wooden floor underfoot provides warmth and grounding\, while bricked walls add texture and character to the practice room. Lush plants are thoughtfully placed around the borders\, enhancing the sense of tranquillity and connection to nature. All necessary props are readily available. The room itself is a sunroom\, with an abundance of windows. Although the sun is not visible during evening sessions\, there is always the possibility of being greeted by the gentle glow of the moon.
